stock colored wheels are slightly yellowish compared to the ones mustang tuning sells. I saw a car with 17s on the front/18s on the back in a magazine. It looked alright alright but would probably look just as good with 18s on the front.

I'd get the FRPP 3.73 gears. Since they're only $20 difference, I think it's worthwhile to get them. I went with FRPP 3.73 and I've never had any problems. It didn't even require any shimming which made installation a breeze.

I may not be able to help except to say that mine makes a similar noise. I called saleen and they said 1600 for a rebuild. I think i'll stick with the noise, especially since it's not hurting performance.

Does that slatted insert replace the original honeycomb or just go over it?

I'm interested if they make it so you can attach the fans (my Series IV came with 2 fans on the heat exchanger) and they need to provide the fittings for the saleen hoses. Otherwise, it's a really sharp looking unit.
