Ouch......... I think I feel a little hurt ;) I guess beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder as they say, fortunately for me I kind of think it looks nasty (the good nasty)

why did you buy s197 vs. cobra? I didn't..... I had the choice, but went the other way. I bought my Cobra late 2004 just as the s197 was showing up. I was offered such a good deal, I just could not resist. I like the s197 chassis and updated features, but I remain happy with my choice.

There is no doubt that the s197 is a nice, tight platform........ much quieter and well behaved, so smooth it almost does not seem like a mustang anymore I just happen to like raw, so I suppose I am in the right car :nice:

There are several videos posted over at SVTPerformance.Com and on streetfire. Both cars have had their share of sucess against each other.

It's a close match up due to the extra weight of the GT500, the edge goes to the GT500 but it could definately be a "drivers race" The Shelby GT is not going to hang

It happens.......... I rode in a new Z06 and was amazed by how tame it felt, not nearly as violent as what I am used to. There is no doubt though that is just as fast.
