I ordered my CDC Classic Chin Spoiler today. Any chance of getting you to post the installation instructions? Suggestions for installation are also appreciated as well. Any special tools required? Did you use a lift, stands or on the ground? By yourself or did you have a helper?
I can personally vouch for Scott's abilities and knowledge of both his product and the 05 Mustang. He has personally built many custom tunes for me, dyno'd my vehicle, and I have never experienced any reliability issues with his tunes. All of his tunes provide excellent performance without...
As I mentioned in my original post (#4) I have always had excellent customer service from DiabloSport and Cole's knowledge and product support is second to none. While some may have had a bad experience with DiabloSport, I never have. I'm sure those looking to trash a manufacturer will always...
Just checked it myself and it appears you are correct. I would email [email protected] or call (561-908-0040) first thing tomorrow AM. Suggest speaking with Cole Stevens - he has always been able to answer any questions/resolve issues that I've had.
His post does not specifically state 1998 but his signature does. Either way DiabloSport's web site only lists a Predator for the 2003/2004 Cobra - not a 1998. The only Predator offered for the 1998 was for the "GT". Sounds like a misunderstanding.
I was just looking on DiabloSport's web site and it appears the 1998-2004 Mustang GT Predator is not the same as the 2003/2004 Cobra Predator. Is that perhaps why?
I have never known anyone at DiabloSport to be anything but helpful, sincere and honest. I have been to their facility and met...
I have often wondered if the flexability of the Predator is also some user's/tuner's downfall - it is very easy to change parameters with the Predator and some users do not fully understand the affects those changes will have. That is another reason I don't make changes without consulting my...
Let's see Windows 3.1, 95, 98, 98SE, ME, XP and soon to come Longhorn. Improvements are only natural in any industry and to be expected. That's why the tuner is updatable (believe that's a word). How is updating the software a problem?
Good Post! It definitely sounds like the #3 cylinder was "Washed Down". I am very fortunate to work for an excellent dealership which works diligently to determine root causes of a failure - not to find an excuse not to provide warranty. The company I work for has it's own state of the art...
Well that is a little more of the story. Still haven't answered the most important question - how does running lean only affect #3 cylinder? While I'm not questioning you, I would ask some more questions of the Ford dealer.
Consider this - the air fuel mixture is going to be the...
Lean with no CEL - interesting. Question - how does running lean only affect #3 cylinder? Sounds like good questions the dealer should have to answer.
PS: here is Diablosport's official response about what is new in r23:
"New calibrations to support updates from FORD & the addition of V6...
I agree with mpentico post completely. However, I have installed the charge motion delete plates myself and it only takes about 1.5 hours - not a bad job at all. Keep in mind the tune will have to be modified for the plates. In my tune it is disabled and the CMCV is left unplugged from the...
