i put on the trickflow, and it looks better, and works just as good. the whistling could be your iac. so check that out. mine went bad, and made a humming then whistling sound.

c&l worked great til a bolt broke off in it and wouldn't get out. after extended efforts, the hole is fubard. so i figured why not try the trickflow.

anyone running this plenum? i just ordered one from sumitt. nice looking piece, figured it should be as good or better than the c&l i had.

+1 on the ngk's. i tried autolites and motorcrafts and they were no competition to the ngk,s. it's not hard to change the plugs out, just remember to blow out any dust/dirt before you remove the plugs, use some antiseize, don't overtighten, and you are good to go.

on the pass side valve cover. there is a tube connected from the pcv to the plenum. it is a screw in type, so unscrew 1/2 turn and see what's up. might as well just go with breathers while you are taking it out!

i put down 252/295 with the same stuff you have plus 75mm tb,c&l plenum, and underdrive pulleys. my prochamber is offroad, and i have the magnapack catback. i am using the sct x-cal2 as well. what is your a.f. ? and what tuner do you have?

tb and plenum should give you arround 15-20 more hp. and a set of underdrive pulleys will give you arround 5-7 more hp.good #'s for the mods though. if you want something that will make a bigger seat of the pants difference, put some 4:10's in that ass!:nice:

the #'s came in a little low due to 850psi bottle pressure but anyways: 325rwhp/397rwtq i hoped for a few more but i lost a lot on the n/a tune with the colder plugs and retarded timing. at least that's what i was told! my tune previously was at 286/355 n/a now today the n/a was 224/308...

how many runs are you getting with the 10lb bottle? just curious. did you have a bottle warmer, and what psi were u at when you had the 90hp increase? did u get a dyno tune? i have the kit installed and i'm going to the dyno this saturday.:D can't wait to see the results ,i'll post them sat...

if the wheels are afs,they are good. i have had no problems with mine. i know a few people with the hankooks and they are happy with the tire for the money they paid.i have 295/35/18 kdw(nt) on 9.5'' rims on the back of my car with sportlines and they fit perfect.

loud and raspy, with some poping when u let off the gas. it's for a chick i know she likes it alot! so that's what matters most i guess.:D

need 2 get colder plugs. for a 125 shot i have the autolite AR94's they are 2 steps colder and are gapped at .35 that is what nos/holley recomends!:nice:
