    Internal Selonoid

Received a call from the shop; Starter is not strong enough for my set up, Changing out starter to high torque starter. They also cleaned up some wiring at alternator. They adjusted the carb for better response and tried to adjust distributor to adjust time a degree or 2 but it's frozen in...

Wow. That's a lot of info, Thanks! I did do some investigation on his but once I knew I was going to have a pro look at it, I lost thought of it and figured I shouldn't stress about it and let him take care of it. I'll know later today.

Only had the engine running for about 5 seconds when I recognized the vibration. Shouldn't have damaged the motor.

I have a 90ish tranny and did not get the fly wheel with the tranny. Got a new one I think from KMJ with 157 tooth, 28OZ imbalance so should be good to go. They are picking the car up today and will know later.

    Internal Selonoid

I had it started for about 5 seconds and can't get the starter to turn over again. During the 5 seconds it was running, there was a new vibration felt from the car. This was immediately after my T5 swap. I give up. Went to local garage to make arrangements to have them pick it up and bring to...

I have installed a new starter that has a solenoid attached to the starter. I ran the "S" terminal wire to the starter solenoid and ran positive battery post to starter. I ran a small jumper from positive to accessories as before. What do I run the "I" terminal wire to as it was on the old solenoid?

    Drivetrain Cable Clutch

I'm doing an automatic to T5 conversion. I have yet to install the clutch pedal. Would it be easier to install the cable bracket mechanism on the clutch pedal now or should I install it after I put the clutch pedal in?

    Drivetrain Spacer Plate

I'm doing a AOD to T5 conversion on my 68 coupe with 351W. Will the AOD spacer plate work with the T5? It appears all the holes line up with the exception of the starter bolts. Will I need a new starter? Do I really need a spacer plate?

    Tranny Swap

Where did you find the T-5? And all the other inexpensive parts (clutch;flex plate0?

    Tranny Swap

The T-5 you want is a 90-93 out of a Mustang. It is rated at 300 ft/lb as the 83-89 are at 265 ft/lbs. If you can find a 93 Corba Mustang T-5, that is slightly higher. Not sure the strength of your motor so maybe a beefier one if you have crazy torque. Modern Driveline has very thing you need...

1965 Fastback Quarter Panel Replacement And Rust Repair

IS that an overlap joint or a butt joint? I'm assuming overlap due to screws being used.

    Engine Flex Plate

The plan is a T5 from a donor 90-93 mustang. The weight balance is for the motor, not tranny....?

    Drivetrain Transmission Support Brace

I originally had a C4 in my 68 with 351W and changed that out to an 89 Grand Marquis AOD (using the stock Torque convertor ). I pulled out my AOD last night getting prepped for a T5 conversion. Does anyone know if I can use the modified transmission brace from the AOD for the T5 conversion?

    SOLD T-5 Conversion

Well, I guess the question is how much? I'm looking to put it into a 68 coupe but can only use the tranny, housing, clutch etc. and need many other components for the swap that are not part of the 91.
