    k member help

If you are talking about Jason at Maximum, he is a stand up guy. I placed a large order for my cobra. Coil overs, shocks/struts, K member, a-arms, rack bushings, solid steering shaft, oil filter relocation, lots of other stuff. Point being, he called me and talked to me for about a half...

Will mach 1 brakes fit my 95?

Pretty sure they fit just fine, you will just need to get new brake lines to make them fit IIRC.

    24 inches and counting

This is one thing I don't miss. We got hit with a snow storm like that last year, but this year, no snow at all - so far. Lots of rain though.

    Rare Breeds?

I saw the Kenne Bell car. I had a poster with it. It was actually sold on ebay a few years back. It was teal IIRC. I am sure there are many of these cars that people have never seen or heard of.

Been a long time - How are you guys? PICS

Thank you as always. My wife says I am retentive, and the guys at work usually wait for me to arrange stuff, because if they do it, they know I will probably come in and do it again. They always joke about having stickers made that say "Certified for use by Shane Adkins". Jokers. But really...

    electric oil pressure gauge

Sorry, it is 4an. I was looking at fuel system upgrades and had 8an stuck in my head. I went back and edited too.

    electric oil pressure gauge

I'll be honest, this was years ago. I really don't remember what the sizes were. I took the factory sender, 36" 4an line and necessary fittings to the machinist, and he made it all work for me with no issues.

    electric oil pressure gauge

In my sig, check out the 1994 Cobra Page. On page 4, you can see how I did it. That part is from a older fox body. I had the shop cut it down, rethread it, and add another hole for the 8an line to the electric sender. Worked like a champ. Cost about $30.

Every state has different rules for this. I have mine registered in my Home state of Ohio. There are stipulations to doing it. Have to have another car titled and registered to you. There have to be less than 5000 made with a certificate stating such, or a certain value of custom...

    Shorties or long tubes

If you look at the link to the 1994 Cobra in my sig, get to the car domain site, page 2, there are a few good pics of BBK Long Tubes and where they sit. I had the car on Coil Overs in the end with this setup, and the only scrape I ever dealt with was a surprise speed bump. I swear that thing...

I Hate emissions. Luckily I don't have to worry about it with my Cobra. I was able to get it registered as a collector. Makes insurance nice too. Full Coverage, No deductible, under $300a year, and its covered for and agreed cash value in the event of it being totaled. I am sure you will...

I think I remember when you were buyin. You have been on here quite a while too. Shockingly, the 03/04 cars take cams quite well. Very streetable with reataining springs and retainers. Here is a good clip of the cams I want, but this car has no cats, and I will keep the Bassani Cats. 2004...

alternator not putting out a charge even though its good

going back in time here a bit. I don't remember the older cars too well, but it sounds almost like a voltage regulator issue to me. If the alt is good that is. The little wire that goes to the solenoid actually tells the alt to put out a charge when the solenoid sees ignition on. I would...

I am in the Navy Submarine Fleet. I have family in every branch though. Big military family here. Thanks all for the comments. I pretty much used to live in these forums. I hang in a lot of 03/04 forums now, but I miss the fellas here. Like I said before, I have not found a better...

    Suspension

Not the cheap way to go, but I would say get your hands on some bilstein HD shocks/struts, H&R Race springs with Urethane isolators. This will give your car an aggressive stance, reasonable ride quality(significantly better than the KYB Eibach combo), and still handle great in the turns. I...

Been a long time - How are you guys? PICS

I have not been around here too much. I sold my 94 Cobra a while back, and bought an 04 Mystichrome, so I have not been in this area much. I have to say though, the 94-95 Stangnet group is by far the best group I have had the pleasure of interacting with. I will occasionally be sneaking over...

Car Carrier dude backed my car into the ground

I have shipped my car on closed carriers several times, and had no issues. They take amazing care of the car and insure it quite well. You get to sign the inspection sheet when they pick it up, get a copy, and sign the same sheet when it arrives. It took the guy almost an hour to finish the...

    Garage upgrades

No, one of my co-workers did that, and it started to peel after a year. If you read into the HD kit, it tells you to seal it with another product from the same line, but HD doesn't sell it, and they can't order it. The warranty doesn't apply if you don't use the whole system. I chose to use...

    Garage upgrades

Whats up JT, I am hoping it holds up for a while. Like I said, this is the same process that my buddy in San Diego has been using for year now. He swears by it, but you never know. I got an estimate to have it done, and almost had a heart attack at $3700. I decided to give it a shot. I...

    Garage upgrades

Yeah, I did it myself, took 7 days total cause you gotta let it dry between coats. It is only supposed to be 3 coats, but I had enough material for 5 coats. It took a day to prep, and then 1 day per coat. Total with dry time is about 12-14 days. You can walk on it a days or less after each...
