Just as the title says..... my brother just bought the 93 F150 and wants todo upgrades. So basically what is the same and what is different........? Also can the air intake be changed to a fox style intake..... since I have a few of them hanging around? If not what is the best aproach to these...

When I first raced my 89 LX totally stock ( in Edmonton Alberta Canada... 4500ft above sea level)..... i was seeing 15.1 to 15.6 with one 14.7 just raggin on it....... hopefully that helps

The best place hands down to buy parts in edmonton is at mopac auto supply, its about 5-7 blocks north of west ed mall on 170th street. You can try JB's (expensive) on calgary trail or Prostock (mainly chevy) just of the yellow head.

I used the stock covers with 1.7 rockers and the were hitting the bezzel sooo.... I took off the bezzel ground down the three 'pedistals' that the bezzel was screwed into then put the bezzel back on almost 1/4 inch higher then stock and after that i had the bezzel and the rockers cleared by more...

They may be the same manufacturer but when I bought my black magic I had both on the counter and the proform just seemed flimsy and not as good of quality. Also on the box the black magic had MADE IN U.S.A, While the Proform had MADE in CHINA. So take it for what it is...

The 4.10's are a good starting point, then go with the subframe connectors, a stall converter would be a good choice also.

I don't really think that the crane/frpp cobra 1.7 pedistals are that bad I put them on and they work great, there fairly cheap too.

Yeah I just put in the intake and 1.7 rockers i sure hope it gives me a 13 sec pass. I was 14.00 at the end last year. I want 13.xx and a 100mph pass so bad.

I totally agree...... I will be there for the test and tune on april 30th, along with my Fiance ( she races a 97 GT w/ 3.73 & slicks) I am super jacked just to get out and start racing again after this brutal winter.
