gas tank is giving me fits.....

:D It may be possible that you have a larger tank than you first had. If your car was a 4 or 6 cyl it had a 13 gal tank on it. The tank you might have now could be for a v-8 or the extended range option from another car, either way you will now need the straps from the car it came off of. Hope...

:D Try this one on for size. Go to you local parts store. (ie yr mk model eng size...) and they will get it right for you. Obivously you have an idiot...

    Thermostat housing leak

:D You can either use the teflon tape or what i do is put permatex on the threads and screw it down. Then wipe off any excess that comes from the top. The only reason its there is incase you might have an electric fan and the sensor goes there or you might have one of the original temperature...

    Rear-end Question

:D One of the moderators has to move the thread. They probably wont cause there is not much action here. Jeff as to the ranger question. Any ranger that uses 9in brakes will work, but you have to change the shoes to the size of the ranger because our brakes are a 1/4 in wider. You are only using...

    Rear-end Question

:D I will answer this but it needs to be moved to the II discussion area. You can put in a rear from a 65-66, they are supposedly the same legnth. Or since you have an 8in in your car you can call any axle company that makes 28 spline axles..ie Moser...and order new ones. Here are the axle...
