I've got a hurst shifter and I'm looking for a shifter boot to match with it. My stock one is all torn up so I've gotta replace it anyway. I haven't found anything for my car though, every hurst boot replacement is for a fox. Anybody have any ideas?

Well, right now I'm just lost as to what to do, short of taking it to someone. I'd stick the stock injectors back in but I don't have them anymore. My friend tried sticking propane in certain areas to check if the idle would change to indicate a vacuum leak, but nothing happened.

Thanks for the info. One question about spark plugs - I was told the stock ford motorcraft ones won't seat properly. One of the local tuners recommended me to get Autolite 3924's, and take down the gap to .45 or so. I did a little bit of searching and found a lot of you guys were doing .35...

Turned the screw out a little, idles now around 600-700 rpms. Once it gets warm and I try to drive it though, the car dies. I think I might take it to the local tuner.

The adapter is back in, but the car still barely idles. It sits at about 500 rpms and nearly dies. Do I need to turn the idle screw to get it up to 1k?

Well, Duration 282/282, Lift .498/.498 - that's the specs for the cam I ordered. Nevertheless, like you said, I'm going to go through that list and I'll let you know if it gets any better if we end up finding something. :D

I still have the stock hood, and it all fits. Just barely. As for the fuel pump, well, my car is running rich right now though? You can smell it. Wouldn't that mean it's definitely getting sufficient fuel, so the stock fuel pump is fine? This is all new to me, so I apologize if my logic...

Car idles now. Friend helped adjust the screw on the TB. Now I just have to find a CAI that will fit with set up because of the intake spacer. I'm going to take it to get it tuned soon too. Thanks for all of your help.

So I definitely need a new fuel pump? I got a MAF to match it all, but we couldn't get it to work since it's a CAI MAF. CAI won't fit because of my intake spacer. It's a JLT cold air

I've dropped a 306 into my 94. HCI is all edelbrock performer stuff. Is anybody else running this set up? I picked up 24lb injectors and a 70mm throttle body. On the first start, we had to keep the throttle wide open to get it to run and it barely hit 2k rpms. Finally started letting off...
