Anyone hooked up an ipod or other mp3 player?

For the cost of the Shaker 1000, get Clarion's VRX755VD. Integrated iPod interface on a 7 inch touchscreen lcd that plays DVDs. Of course CD, AM/FM, MP3, CD-RW, etc, etc. This product was huge at the Consumer Electronic Show in January...

No more 05's to be scheduled

Gee, I guess that speaks highly for the huge horde of V6 Ponies just sitting on dealer lots in such large numbers across the U.S... Also not sure what "treat you better than Ford" means. If it is dealership treatment, forget it, Ford loses to almost everybody in that respect. If it is...

    X-Plan for 2006 GT

X-Plan allows business partners of Ford to get discounts on the Ford Family of vehicles. For a GT buyer, it means about $1,500 to $2,000 off MSRP. From Fordpartner website: The Partner Recognition Program offers substantial savings on most Ford Motor Company vehicles. Partner pricing...

    X-Plan for 2006 GT

Just FYI -- Galpin Ford has 45 Mustangs on the lot --all V6!! Palm Springs Ford has 44 on the lot -- 31 V6, 8 GT vert and 5 GT. Ford really screwed the Pony with their V6 vs. GT production. I'd look for incentives real soon on the V6.

No more 05's to be scheduled

MyBlueOval - I'm not sure what kind of cars you're used to driving, but there is no comparison between the 330 and the Mustang. Sure, the Mustang will offer up more hp, but quality of German engineering can't be beat. (And anybody who says Ford builds a car surpassing BMW quality has spent too...

    X-Plan for 2006 GT

Heard back from Galpin. No on the X-Plan for the '06. ("But I've got 26 GT's on the lot, so come on in!") -"Can I do those on X-Plan?" ("Nope, but come on in and we can talk about it.") God, I hate buying cars.

No more 05's to be scheduled

According to other posts here, '06 production won't start until Aug 8, so the July date seems very optimistic unless Ford is bumping their production schedule up. See if you can pin your dealer down on the production date for '06 (and let everybody here know!). Sorry you're going to have...

    X-Plan for 2006 GT

Where did you end up getting yours from? Through X-Plan?

    X-Plan for 2006 GT

Worthington in Long Beach. Palm Springs Ford said to get back to them in August and I haven't heard back from Galpin yet. Any other biggies in SoCA you can think of? Santa Monica and Buerge are pretty small and I didn't really care for the guys at South Bay.

    X-Plan for 2006 GT

Got this response from a large Southern California dealer regarding my pre-production order inquiry for an '06 GT through X-Plan: We are not participating in the X-plan program on 2006 Mustang GT's. Due to the limited availability of 2005 GT's we anticipate the same for the 2006 model...

    X-Plan Problem...

I actually took my two year old to a local dealership, took his shoes off and threw him the back of a V6 that was on the floor. It seemed like there was decent room for him, but I think with a car seat he'd be eating his knees. The only possible pitch I can make to the wife is that if I'm...

    X-Plan Problem...

Another forum said that '06 production starts August 8. Assuming I can get the wife to agree, I'm hoping to be in line for a titanium GT. (She's concerned about the "practicality" of hauling kids around if her Volvo XC90 isn't available. Practicality.... BAH!)

Am I ever gonna get my car - THE WAIT!

I found the link after a bit of "detectiving": http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/05/06/ Color looks pretty sweet!

    X-Plan Problem...

FYI, from the AQHA website: http://www.aqha.com/partners/index.html The $500 incentive is in addition to all other publicly available Ford Motor Company retail offers in effect at the time of purchase or lease. This incentive may not be used in combination with other private offers. Note...

    Marked up in Southern California

So I went to my local Ford dealership today at lunch to get a closer look at the Mustang. (I mean after all, if I'm seriously considering buying one, I should at least see if I can fit in it! - 6'2" -) I was pretty shocked to the see the verts with a $5,000 markup and the GTs with a $3,000...

    '05 as a family car?

LOL Ex-Con.... funny you should say that... it is the lease on my 2002 3-series that is expiring in early Oct. As I'll be in the market in a couple of months, I'm weighing my options. Mustang, 350z, Charger, G35, Acura, Audi all in the running. But, I'm definately looking for something...

    '05 as a family car?

Anybody have any opinions about the '05 as a family car? Before server crash, I think I read a beef that the seat won't memorize it's position if it is moved forward to let a kid in the backseat. Anything else? How about room for a car seat (either front facing or rear facing). Also, does...
