    air tube on the h-pipe

After completely unbolting my stock midpipe, it was hanging from the egr tube and I could not get it off. I placed my foot on the cross section of the pipe and pushed as hard as I could and it finally came off.

Black interior conversion pics w/Summit sport seats

I'll be taking one out within the next couple days to shift it back a little. I'll try to weigh it then. :nice:

Black interior conversion pics w/Summit sport seats

Of course that's an opinion, but mine was completely dirty and dingy and my seats were cracked really bad.

Carpet only takes a couple hours, just get a buddy to help you along. Be ready to do some trimming on it as they provide you with more carpet than you need. The painting doesn't take long at all. I used the paint that 50resto sells and the stuff goes on smooth as hell. It's really great stuff...

Black interior conversion pics w/Summit sport seats

I got it from mustangtuning.com I think for $160 and they offer free shipping over $50, so... I like it. It's much better feeling than the stock one, but I know some people think it feels somewhat cheap. I have to say that all of my buddies envy me for the wheel though. link to steering...

Black interior conversion pics w/Summit sport seats

Comfortwise, they don't compare to the stock leather seats I had, but I never expected $200 Summit "racing" seats to be either. I'm a big guy and they are snug on my sides and all of my friends that also drive Mustangs that have sat in them thought they were comfortable. My car is a DD, but I...

Carpet-$99 Interior paint-$30 New floor mats-$40 Black door panels-$80 FR500 wheel-$160 Black console-free (a buddy gave it to me) Rear quarter panels, kick panels, glove box, knee plate-various (I pulled them from a car in a junk yard. I couldve just as easily painted my grey stuff.)...

Sure, you just have to turn a knob, :( No biggie though, other than throwing crap in the back, I'll never really have to move them after I put the delete in.

Black interior conversion pics w/Summit sport seats

Hey all, aside from a few extremely small things, I've completely converted my interior from grey/black to black. The steering wheel is an FR500 wheel and the seats are the $209 summit sport seats (black vinyl). The wood in the back is the future homemade rear seat delete I'm making since I have...

Why I'm A Mechanical Dumba$$ (feel free to disagree)

Not mechanical but....I once ordered new lugnuts for my car. How many did I order?....8, yes EIGHT!! How I came to that number I'll never know. Eight lugnuts wouldn't even cover 2 of the wheels.

Thinking of making a stang site

As long as "talk" is allowed with reckless abandon. Also, it'd be great to have a separate sub-forum to post serious quantities of random pics. I love browsing through threads with just random pics of Mustangs. It's the best way to get ideas for future mods. :D

Changing Harmonic Balancer - any tips?

Go to an auto parts store and rent a harmonic balancer puller. You may also need a pretty large breaker bar as the bolt that holds it on is pretty stout. I think the socket size you need for the bolt is 15/16'', but I could be wrong. Make sure you have some gasket material to dab into the keyway...
