Guys:
A friend of a friend is selling his 1971 Boss 351 and I need some input. You guys were really helpful when I picked up my '65. This car is suppose to be an original Boss 351 in great condition. I'm getting pics and the VIN later this week.
Here are my questions: What should I be...
What part of the country are you in? I paid a lot more for my 65 but I was living in Cali at the time. Sounds like a good deal...especially if you have seen his work.
Gentlemen! Thanks for all the efforts to help me with this purchase. I've exchanged a few more emails with the person selling this car and i'm getting the feeling that they are trying to run a scam. This is the reason I wanted to have a physical inspection.
I don't think I will be needed...
All:
Has anyone used a car inspector that works in Texas? I'm located in Maryland and need an inspector that can provide me with an honest opinion of a car I'm looking to purchase. Any national services?
Thanks in advance,
Regie

Most of the good photos are posted on that website. I need to take some photos of the interior.
Interesting color combo? Is that a nice way of saying it's ugly? the color is actually Medium Red / Wim. white.

I just entered my second car show and placed in the Top 30! The show was the Tri-County Cruisers Car Show sponsored by the Lions Club in Maryland.
Thanks to all the guys that helped me make decisions about my car (i.e., paint, interior, etc.)

I guess a better question is should the stripes have been added to a 302? Would this have been standard or is this someone's attempt to "dress-up" a '69 302?
That's what I figured. You can see where the "Boss" decal was suppose to go. I'm wondering if the car is a 69 GT? I'm looking in my Mustang book and the 69 coupe doesn't have non-functional side scoops.
I found this website with a 1969 302 Mustang for sale. This "1969" looks weird to me. Check it out and let me know what you guys think:

I've been talking with my wife about the color of the car...presently Grabber Blue...and of course she hates it. Not that it matters! I've been trying to find a color palette for the 73 online but I haven't located one. Has one seen one posted?
How much did you guys pay for your '73? What was...
I was just driving down the street and saw a 1973 Mustang Mach 1 CobraJet for sale. The guy is asking 13k obo and states that it's 80% original and drives great. Of course I'm going to have it checked over by a mechanic (i.e., AAA 100 point inspection). I could only see one rust spot poking thru...
Truck, take a look at this picture of my car:

If I remember correctly, the pins are from a 70s Mustang. I like the clean look. I purchased mine from a Classic Mustang in Pico Rivera (Ron/Lonny).
