    Front end Clunk

Jack up the front end, remove the front wheels. Check and make sure the sway bar end links are tight. The end links are what connect the end of the sway bar to the strut. They're vertical, can't miss 'em. Mine were loose a year after I put Eibachs on and clunked like a mofo over rough roads...

    Seafoam is teh *****!

Nah, it's all good I'm sure. More or less bragging rights if you know what I mean..."hey that's my car on the Seafoam t-shirt!" :nice:

    Seafoam is teh *****!

Well, uh, I'm not sure of any implications (if there are any), but that car belongs to a good friend of mine. He might chime in here, I let him know about the thread. Interesting to say the least!

    Seafoam is teh *****!

Givin' it a bump :) I haven't 'foamed my 05 yet, but did my wife's Escape the other day (Saturday). It has over 97K on the clock so I figured it would be a good candidate. I'm a Seafoam virgin too :) So I put a full can in the gas tank (it had 1/2 tank), 1/2 can in the crank case, and 1/2...

just got 2007 gt/cs (have tire question)

Agreed, but it depends on the brand of tire. Nitto's run narrower than other brands of similar size. I'd bet you could put a Nitto 555 285/40/18 on an 8.5" wheel safely.

For All Those Interested in Speeding Ticket PREVENTION, Please Read!

:Word: I refuse to contribute to their easy-money-slush-fund. I can't count the number of times I've saved someone from getting a ticket because I'm doing 30 in a 30, and sure enough, standing there with his little radar gun. They usually give me a disgusted look because now they have to wait...

I don't take any credit for it ;) The Mustang Source is down otherwise I'd post a link. Good luck!

    Something loose in front end.

Guys it's the bolts at the top/bottom (or both) of the vertical brace that connects the sway bar to the strut. Use a wrench (I forget what size) to hold the nut in place, and an 8mm socket for the bolt. Turn the BOLT with the 8mm socket to the LEFT to tighten, yes the LEFT. If it moves at...

    coldair intakes?

No, the hand-held tuner (whether it be the XCalibrator I or II, or Predator) locks itself to your vehicle (via the VIN) once a non-factory tune is installed to your car. The only way to unlock it (to either sell it or use it on another vehicle) is to return your car to the stock tune. No way...

    Runnig close to redline?

Took my car to redline more in the first 150 miles than I did my previous Stang (96 GT) in 4 years :) Now with 19K miles on the clock, not a hint of trouble of any kind with the engine. It gets taken to redline at least once a day now :)
