About 80% of the improvement for my car came from just adding SFC's but that may be partly because it is a vert which has a weak chassis.I'm not convinced lowering the car an inch improves handling that much and can make the ride a lot stiffer.For an older guy like me that matters.

You don't need a new exhaust if you have a GT exhaust....I just cut off the last foot or so of the Gt turndowns and put on 18" SS tips.

The Gt40X heads have big 178cc intake ports and don't flow much better than the Gt40Y's which have 160cc ports.I had a little porting work done on my Y's and they flow as good or better than the X's.The Y's are great in every day driving....torquey but not the best track head.For everyday fun...

Have you considered a cobra bumper?It looks particularily good on a vert IMHO.But you may want to keep the car all stock too.

If you have a red GT I think the graters look fine.I personally don't care for the LX lights on a GT unless its white and the Cobra lights leave a big overhang gap with the trunk lid I couldn't live with.

If it is just normal street driving,with that very low profile,the Falken 115 is just the ticket to smooth out the ride a bit.It is the most comfortable and quietest you can get and doesn't give up much in handling to any others....none that you would notice.

Sounds like you want a good torquey bottom end so ported stock or Cobra intake.
