hey Mike, i was running an off road hpipe with flowmaster 40's and never got pulled over by the state or local police. i had to remove them for inspection though. now i can't find a shop to put my offroad pipe back on. i don't have the tools to do it either. i'll just keep lookin until i find...

hey, would you happen to have a sound clip of what your LM catback sounds like. i have flowmaster "american thunder" catback system. i removed the original mufflers that came with the system and just installed the super 44's. they are mucher deeper sounding.

does anyone know of any shops that will install an off road h-pipe in north jersey around the lyndhurst / newark / belville area? i went to a few shops but they would not do it because the pipes don't have cats on them. i don't have the tools or a lift to do it myself. any ideas?

ok, thanks for the info. i wasn't sure if they had the sensor that goes into your tailpipe. thanks, saved me the hassle of putting my off-road h-pipe back on for nothing.

i was just wondering if my 04 gt will pass nj state inspection with an off-road hipie? I have the MIL so the check engine is not lit but i just wanted to know if they have another way of telling i don't have cats on the car.
