    Summit/Northern Radiator Mounting - Summit 380100 ok?

Do you have the stock lower radiator mounting brackets? You may be able to fit the stock into the channel of those brackets and bolt it to them. There is a hole in the center of the channel that you can use a bolt/machine screw. With my radiator, it was a bit wider than the factory...

Motor mounts, Tremec 3550 and Driveshaft Angle

Thanks wildbill. Not sure about the rack and pinion as I have stock power steering. I don't think you can go wrong with the lowering mounts compared to the tunnel mods, unless you have a lowered car with headers that scrape the ground. You have the taller windsor so it shouldn't be a problem ;)

Motor mounts, Tremec 3550 and Driveshaft Angle

They should get you the proper driveline angle. They've been used to get T56 driveline angles in check and the T-3550 is a tad smaller. If you have patience, fabrication tools, and want to save a few bucks you can make your own. Check out my build thread here: Custom Motor Mount build - 1969...

Motor mounts, Tremec 3550 and Driveshaft Angle

The Ron Morris will drop the engine 1/2". You can fabricate you own shock tower brackets to lower it further, but you will get into oil pan clearance issues with the steering linkage and front frame crossmember

    Summit/Northern Radiator Mounting - Summit 380100 ok?

I was afraid of that. What about removing the filler neck and mounting a remote filler neck? From my experience with the 19" tall Northern radiator, with it sitting atop the strut rod braces I have a slight hood clearance issue with the radiator cap. My cap is a billet cover over a standard...

    My current build...438 clevor/70 fastback.

do you have any more pics of the radiator support mods without the radiator mounted? I'm interested in possibly doing this mod myself. I'd like to squeeze a Mark VII in there. What size radiator are you running (height x length)?

mods to core support for larger radiator

I have the Northern 27.5x19 on my 70 and it barely fits between the frame rail. Any wider of a radiator and I'd recommend going with the shorter 16" tall radiator and sit the radiator on top the frame rails.

    Summit/Northern Radiator Mounting - Summit 380100 ok?

For my Northern 27.5x19 radiator I reused the stock mustang top and bottom mounts. I had to squeeze the radiator channels slightly to fit the brackets, but it worked. Ever figure out if you are going to have clearance issues with the hood when putting that radiator on top of the frame rails...

How much sound deadening (dynamat etc) is needed?

I've heard good things about Second Skin as well, may be something you check into. It's a bit more than the cheaper versions of Dynamat but still less than Dynamat itself.

    My current build...438 clevor/70 fastback.

sweet build thus far! Hey what size steel did you use for the trans crossmember? I'm planning on doing something very similar with my crossmember for my T56 conversion in my 70 mach.

    hyd clutch

Thanks for the info! What do you mean my integral bell? The trans has a bellhousing, midplate, and then the main trans body. I worry about clutch fork clearance with the wider T56 and my hooker comp headers. The Cobra T56 has the fork in the 7 o'clock position, which if I recall...

    hyd clutch

Care to elaborate? I was planning on using the McLeod hyd throwout bearing instead of the slave/fork setup in my T56 but have been reading some bad stuff about setting up the hyd TO bearings. Tips/tricks or problems you've encountered?

    Electric or Standard water pump

I was helping over on the VMF. I just measured my front frame rails face to face and it's 27.75" on my 70 mach. If your radiator is installed on top of your frame rails, the max you can likely go is 18.25 before the radiator cap hits. That is the measurement to the top of my radiator cap cover...

    Granada parts

I've used Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for most of my junk yard parts. Once you get to the listing of available parts, you can arrange it by distance from your zip code. These aren't your usual pick-n-pulls but the yards that sell you the part over the counter. I was still able to get...

    67 stang ride height problem

We need to know what year suspension he put on the car, as "V8" doesn't help much. I'm pretty sure the 65-66 UCA's and LCA's are roughly an inch shorter than the 67-70. The 67 has specific UCA's and LCA's only to that year due to the strut rod as bnickel stated. It's doubtful that he received...

    rear 28/31 spline

Typically if you look at the end of the axle that is visible in the center of the brake drum, the 31 spline will be smooth with a couple indentations and a 28 spline will be dished. See pic below from Ultrastang's website

Post the length of the driveshaft. There are a few running around here with a T56.

    Long Tube Headers - '66 289 (347ci)

If you have the money, give FPA a call. Only full length header that I know that won't create ground problem clearance issues. You pay for them though ;)
