I painted mine last year. It was pretty easy once I got the rust off. I can't remember what paint I used but it's holding up really well which suprises me as I did kind of a rush job when I was changing rims.

200.0 would be a good start on a nice head unit if it needs an upgrade. I think that there to are to many options to list as far as performance goes. I'm sure others who have done a swap will chime in soon. Very nice looking car by the way. Esp. for it's age. What was the price on it?

I know this is an iold post but can a V1 be upgraded to a v2? Mine seems to be. V1 on the name plate, but with v2 fins? thanks.

5.0 engines have 2 sensors close the heater pre-cat, on 3.8 and 4.6 models there are 4 sensors located before and after the catalytic converters.

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? Might not be getting enough at WOT.

Spray on white lithium greese should hold up for a while if you have any.

Ebay CAI's are a hit and miss thing from what I've seen. My upper pipe was way to long and didn't bend enough. I had to cut it to make it fit and it still rubs up against the sidewall! Maybe they didn't misrepresent on purpose and can send you the correct one in return for the one you have now.

Not sure about the tailpipe thing but if you plan on switching over to the 5.0 your looking at the wiring harness, exhaust, computer, and I think engine mounts. Thier are also probably some other things I left out.

According to the Superchip web site it will work. Just needs to be programed with my computer codes specs.
