i put the ford racing chrome fox style ones on my vert with 1.6rr's and had no problems at all. i did remove the baffle however, just incase. hell, i put stock fox valve covers on my 94 coupe with 1.7rr's with no problem. removed the baffle and didn't have to grind anything. hope that helps

trickflow intakes are stupid heavy, that's why i sold it and got a GT-40. there is no need to port the gt-40 upper anyways, it's already smooth in the tubes. which is basically the only reason to extrude hone the cobra upper, to smooth it out and let the air flow easier. i'll post mine up...

why is your fuel pressure set so high? 38# should be plenty.

i made 299 with this car when it had trickflow heads with 8 bent intake valves, courtesy of trickflow, a stock cam w/ 1.7 rr's and a track heat intake. so i would hope to get at least that much out of this set up.

distributorless 5.0? like on the 96 and up 5.0 explorer's. they use a cam sensor where the distributor goes and an 8 plug coil pack. but i was thinkin trying to use a 2 coil pack set up like on the early 4.6, and hiding them in the fender wells. or maybe even trying coil on plug ignition like...

black rtv gasket maker for the front and back of intake, and use alot or it will leak. do not use the cork gaskets that come with the gasket kit, they suck. and pull the motor, if for nothing else, just to match the paint to the car. that has got to look horrible.:shrug:
