Well a Sn95 cobra has gt 40 heads, 1.7 rockers, cobra intake, underdrive pullies, and a beefer cam. A stock sn95 cobra with a vortech will produce signifcantlly more power than a bone stock fox mustang.

Have you thought of a vortech'd 01 bullitt? Those are going for around $10k. A few months ago a super clean one sold for $8800 on the corral. 03-04 Cobras are definitely big boy toys, but you'd be suprised how smooth the ride is.

Guys, can we stay on topic and help the OP? To the OP, get an 03-04 cobra, full exhaust, cai, 3.4 whipple pullied for 16lbs of boost, tune and don't look back. That's ALL you need to be the king of the streets in your town.

My 03 Cobra has 34K and my 03 Lightning has 45k. Both are whippled and have decimated everything they have faced on the street. I haven't seen any fox variant come remotely close to keeping up with either. I've race turbo'd, supercharg'd, all motors with big cams, strokers, everything...

What he said. I have a whippled 03 lightning and a whippled 03 cobra and i haven't seen a 5.0/LS1 anything stay within 3 car lenghts of either car. I've destroyed vortech/kenne bell/paxton/tubo'd 5.0s, 2011 5.0's, blown ls1's like nothing. I was going to get an 11 5.0, but i'm waiting to see...

the tfs-1 cam makes decent power but the lope is weak....depends on which is more important to you.

i'm running the same combo gt40p with upgraded springs, 1.7 rockers, GT40p and explorer intake...runs great but doesn't have the sound/lope i expected. I wish i had went f-303. I didn't have to change pushrods..stock ones worked great.
