    When you say it moves now, can you feel each range or is it smooth (no detent)? I'd check the linkage on the side of the trans. Unhook the cable and make sure it moves normally then move the shift lever w/out cable hooked up on the trans and see if you get all ranges. That should at least...

    Make for sure that the shifter is adjusted perfectly. I've seen transmissions burn themselves up on 1 pass due to misadjusted shifters.     331 is 3.25" stroke and the 347 is 3.4" stoke. The 5.315" rod combo was to get the piston pin out of the oil ring groove.

    If your using quad shocks the mounting holes on the rear end need to be lowered. I just took mine off. Also if you still want an e-brake SVO cables were pretty easy to make work.

    Please help on C4, Pan fill dipstick problem!

    If it is a case fill the hole is on the pass. side front directly behind the bellhousing. If the hole is not there then you need a dipstick for a pan fill C-4. Since it already has a pan with the threaded fitting its probably a pan fill.
