    I dont mean to be THAT guy, but those welds looked really cold. I really hope there was good weld pennetration. Oh, and you can get a mig conversion for a flux wire welder for pretty cheap now days...:) The finished project looks awesome though!

    +1 Regardless of your ring choice, a proper hone is imperative for the proper ring seal. Even a cheap monkey ball honer will be better than nothing.

    [/COLOR] Same here...I bought one from BBK for shorties, and had to have it cut and welded. Even my Bassani one I had to cut up and re weld. Now I will just make my own mid pipes...:shrug:

    If it is a fox mid pipe, the hangers would interfere with the trans crossmember. Look to see if there are cut/grind marks near where the tubes connect to the headers.

    Worth having a 302 block machined for 1/2 head bolts/studs?

    Too much cost for any real bennefit. A quality sey of bolts or studs is all you need.
