I've seen people pay a premium, upwards of $18K for one in that condition. A dealer near me is selling a '99 T/A, with 110,000 miles for $18K!
I know it's an F-Body, but it looks sweet, and an LS1. I'll keep the Stang too:D

Yeah, but what's sad is that 8 years later, Ford still hasn't built a GT that's faster then the old Trans Am's. I agree, we need more displacement to compete (stock).
The '04 GTO was capable of high 13's stock, but most hit 14.0-14.1
In '05, the GTO went deep 13's, some around here hitting high 12's, stock. The '05's performed about the same as the old LS1 Trans Am's after 1998.
