Looks like the bidding for that is at $10K now. Wouldn't be surprised if people will pay $15K for an LS1 in that nice condition :hail2:

That one in the eBay Ad only has 74K miles on it. He's probably asking around 12K for it. Those Ram-Air Trans Am's look Hot! :nice:

I thought, that video was cool! Would be nice to have that T/A, low 13's all day, stock :) I've seen people pay a premium, upwards of $18K for one in that condition. A dealer near me is selling a '99 T/A, with 110,000 miles for $18K!

Mmmmm. You raced an LT1, because with those mod's, even a stock LS1 is going to take an '05 on the highway. Numbers don't lie.

Yeah, but what's sad is that 8 years later, Ford still hasn't built a GT that's faster then the old Trans Am's. I agree, we need more displacement to compete (stock).

True. Stock LS1's are running 13.4-12.2 Only problem is, there aren't alot of stock LS1's and with just a few common mod's LS1's are in the 12's :(

The GTO is of course faster then our '05GT. For that matter, the old LS1 Firebirds are still faster then us :(

The '04 GTO was capable of high 13's stock, but most hit 14.0-14.1 In '05, the GTO went deep 13's, some around here hitting high 12's, stock. The '05's performed about the same as the old LS1 Trans Am's after 1998.
