Did you solve this issue? My tachometer needle doesn't bounce but it goes the opposite direction when throwing a rev.

Slowly restoring my 93 gt. The tachometer needle goes in reverse then back to 0. Anyone find a fix for this? Recommend a place to start? This started randomly when I first bought the car. I ended up putting in an aftermarket tachometer and tried to not look at it haha. About time to get it...

Tachometer Issue

No alarm that I know of although I'm thinking maybe a previous owner added one. Every now and then when a battery is reconnected, I hear a chirp.

Thanks for the great info! Fordstrokers seems to have the best feedback for dart blocks. Just think a stock block will work for what I want. I will have to start researching any local builders.

I'm starting with a almost stock 93 GT. It has bbk shorty headers and a magnaflow x-pipe with cats. I did notice those magnafloe xpipes are wayyy more expensive then back in 2002, but I would be pretty much starting from scratch regarding supporting mods.
