    aode problem?

Thanks....another AODE Fixed I've been following this thread because my 94 GT with 78,000 miles has been having a similiar problem. During hot days at driving speed, it would drop out of overdrive to neutral and engine would rev then a split second later it would drop back into overdrive. It...

    1st trip w/ T5

Your results are very comparable to mine. My 66 coupe has a 3.00 differential gear and your rpms appear to be very close to what I'm getting at 70 mph. I'm planning to put a new pumkin in the 8" rear this weekend with a 3.55 and trac loc. I felt that the 3.00 was a bit tall for my...

Wheel Tire Size The wheels and tires came off a 2005 Mustang and I'm using 1" wheel adapters front and rear. There's some minor tire rub in the rear if there's more than 50 lbs in trunk and I hit a bump at road speed, otherwise, they have worked out great. DLF

    66 Project

Cost Stallionlover: In this particular car, the base car cost me $2500 and yes, it was drivable (barely) and went into the garage under it's own power. My son, daughter, wife and I have put almost 2 years of labor into the car and although I did not keep good records of the cost (for fear...

New Paint I was never quite satisfied with the color nor quality of my mustang's previous paint job. That said, I delivered the 66 to a local body shop last Monday and picked it up yesterday. Here's some photos of the new paint job. Comments welcome. Photo1 Photo2 Photo3 Photo4...

    Rewiring my 69-suggestions welcome

Every wire in the EZ wiring harness has a label printed on the insulation at 6" intervals. I used the 1966 Mustang wiring diagram to sort out the wiring connections between old and new. I believe I reused two connectors. The one to the windshield wiper motor and the one to the headlight...

    Rewiring my 69-suggestions welcome

I second jikelly's recommendation. I'm using the EZ 21 in my 66 Mustang. I'm impressed with the quality of the generic wiring harness and of course the price. You can read more about my wiring experience here.

Finished up a T5 swap, comments and a review

Good rundown of the installation process. I'm days away from doing the same install and your outline will save me some time. So have your driven the car yet? If yes, I'm interested in your comments on the before vs after. Also, did you change the rear end gear ratio? My 66 has a 3.00 to...

66 Project Update...picture link included We've moved into what I consider the fun part of the project. We're now installing new suspension components, brake system components, and preparing to rebuild engine. We're also preping the body for paint. I think I may see the light at the end of...

    66 Project

Great Paint Job I saw your thread earlier tonight and the body work and paint look GREAT! I can't wait to get to the stage where we can start spraying paint. Staying excited about our project at this stage of the renovation is indeed a challenge. Progress is slow and rewards are small...

Misleading Attachment I purchased the car locally and it has been stored out of weather for the last ten years. If you looked at the linked photo server, you'll see that it has rust in all the typical places. I'm busy replacing floor pans right now. Both rear quarter panels also had to be...
