4000 CFM dodge Viper fan install Pics & info

I know it's a dealer item.. At the time I paid something like 185 from Diablosport, and the dodge dealer wanted around 250 ish. I think they are more now. I wouldn't pay more than a couple hundred bucks for it. I've sinced pulled the fan since it wouldn't fit with my YSI and now use a 31x19...

4000 CFM dodge Viper fan install Pics & info

what more do you need? Only thing I will say is I tore off the dcc controler, even when the controller is on full blast, the fan will run faster with a direct 12v sorce, so the controller is holding the fan back a little. It may not be an issue with your set up and if it cools then great, mine...

    No tailpipes or dumps

I have heard of road race guys actually boiling the fuel inside of the tank when running without dumps. But these cars are being ran balls to the walls for extended periods of time. I run just mufflers on my 95 with no issues but I don't have a gas tank since the cell sits in the trunk. I...

    switching supercharger to 408

The brackets should bolt up, hood clearance will likely be an issue due to the 9.5" deck height of the 351w based engines. But I think a better question is what blower do you have, what is your compression on the 408, what block, internals, heads, intake, and cam are you running. A good...

Vibration after T5 rebuild and clutch install

If it gets worse with rpm it's probably the flywheel. I've never had any luck with resurfacing them, in my experience they will always vibrate to some degree, especially if you take a lot off or cut it down twice. For the 100 bucks it cost to buy a new one, I won't even bother with resurfacing...

Battery cut off switch, Alternator wire?

Ok.. thanks.. I appreciate it.. After looking at it closer I see how it just bolts on under the cover with the main battery wire.

Battery cut off switch, Alternator wire?

I'm talking about these two wires that hook to the alt cable itself. As you can see in these two pictures. First pic is the alt cable hooking into the other two, and the second picture is the two red wires going into the fuse box. When you cut or no longer use the OEM alt cable then you are...

Battery cut off switch, Alternator wire?

I know the alt cable goes to the battery and doesn't power anything, I'm wondering if the two wires the OEM alt cable was attached to that went into the power distribution box powers anything and if they (the two wires) can be left unhooked.

Battery cut off switch, Alternator wire?

Just wondering when you install a battery cut off switch on a 94/95, and you wire the alternator directly to the battery side of the switch, what do you do with the two wires that the original alternator wire attached to and that went into the power distribution box under the hood. Do you have...

    Battery Relocation has begun....

Just wondering when you guys installed the battery cut off switch on your 94/95, and you wire the alternator directly to the battery side of the switch, what do you do with the two wires that the original alternator wire attached to and that went into the power distribution box under the hood...

    Car running VERY rich

Do you have the correct sampling tube installed to match your injectors to the maf. I once ran an 80mm C&L. I swapped it out for a 73mm and the car ran better all around. But it was never like your describing.

    AOD converter ?

I would recommend an Edge Mild Street for your set up. It's basically a realitively cheap worked over stock size converter with a 24-2600 true stall. I run one in my 92 that is pretty much stock except for exhaust, gears, and CAI. I run 13.9's at 98.xx mph. Bang for the buck I like it. I...

    clutch

I would recommend the C102 10.5" SuperHD Clutch Kit from D&D performance. http://ddperformance.com/ford%20clutches.htm Pedal effort is just like stock and it holds alot of power. I've ran two of them, t5 and t56, and both were flawless and not to mention super easy on the foot. There is no...

    Headlights wont work.....where to start?

If the flash to pass works with no lights then it's probably the mutifunction switch. That's what happened to mine as well.. Just make sure you get the correct one as 87-89 are NOT the same as 90-93's. Here is a link, although pricey, you may get it cheaper from autozone or ebay if you want to...

need an off the shelf cam recomendation

Since your adding a blower with the 8.5:1 comression I would go with a Trick Flow stage 2 cam if your set against a custom (which would be best IMO). Just make sure you have the piston to valve clearance needed with it. I would assume your pistons are notched for 2.02 valves and Afr 185's on...

    Intake/Cam on stock engine

It may be only a 150 dollar difference, but you led us to believe you could have the complete kit in a month or two, so why would you want to tear it all apart to do a cam swap and intake, then tear the top half back apart in just a short while to do heads? Save yourself some work and money in...
