    i forgot to mention the heads are set up for pedestal mount rocker arms. would they hold up with the higher rated springs and higher lift cam that will be installed. would it be a good idea to get them converted to studs or just upgrade to a bigger head with studs.

    At what point do you need to consider a good tune?

    When would I, or anybody else modifying a fox body, need to consider an aftermarket tuning system? this could be a pms, tweecer or just a dyno burnt chip.

    question on heads???

    im happy with my edelbrock performer heads. all types of options here to with valve sizes and emissions setups. the 1.90/1.60 pedestal mount are the direct bolt on. buy em o-ringed if you plan on boost :D

    Ever swapped an engine on a Nissan Pathfinder??

    Not, exactly a 'stang question, but does anyone have any knowledge of how involved an engine swap is on a 2001 4WD Pathfinder. A friend wants me to swap his blown motor. I have swapped an engine on a mustang but never got this involved. any help is appreciated.

    like he said ealrier, autos can be fun with the proper mods to go with it like gears, so i would take into consideration what you will use it for, wether it will be more enjoyable hitting the gears or not to get up to speed.

    im mostly into fox body mustangs, however, if edelbrock makes an exhaust or any other parts for the new stangs, id get it. benn dealing with edelbrock for a while now, parts always performed and excede the xpectation of the cost. just my 2 cents.

    what are the best underdrive pulleys??

    i had the mac pullies and my battery would not charge. i did have some resistance in the alternator wiring though.. i rewired it and battery still would not charge. put the stock pullies on , battery charged and no noticeable horsepower lost. for my daily driver, as mine is, id leave stock...

    Idle Air Adjuster Plate???

    i bought my stang with the plate on. idled fine. when i rebuilt the motor i messed aroung with a couple of things and ended up taking off the plate to see how it idled. idles ok but im about to put the plate back on there. feels like it idles a little better.

    Worst injury while working on your car?

    finger went into the grinding wheel sharpening a chisel. stupid move. it always an adventure pulling of your latex glove to see what how bad you finger is mangled. still have no feeling on the tip.
