i found an article where a 01 gt lost 10 hp with shorties. I know i know those were shorties. im still looking for the article on the lt's. the shorties did gain , 7 hp at 5,600 rpm, but it lost (imho) a whopping 10 hp at 3,600 rpm!

well I subscribe to 5.0 mustang mag and I pay very close attention to the exh stuff in the articles. All the dyno test on long tubes lost 3-5 hp across the band over stock manifold untill bout 5,300 rpm then gained about 2-3 hp? So yes Im serious! on our cars spinning the eng over 5,500 rpm...

unless you plan on adding a supercharger the long tubes will do nothing but lighten your wallet! Now the pro-chamber that will give you power! imho flows = loud , no power. The combo of pro-chamber and flows from what ive heard its realy loud, but that is what some are after.......

just add TOULENE to your gas, this is the octane booster from the gas corp. Works REALY well on a fi eng . just loook up home made octane boosters, that will take you to a few forums on the mix! One talks about a few older turbo cars running 12-28 lbs of boost and realllyyyy liking the higher...
