    Dyno tune in Detroit area?

I've gotten a good recommendation for Kendall at Detroit Dyno from a fellow autocrosser. He's apparently 'tech' oriented so I'm sure he'd be up for digging into your bog condition and trying to iron it out. He also just got a shock dyno which I'm interested in using this winter on my Bilsteins.

    Dyno tune in Detroit area?

You might try www.detroitdyno.com I've been wanting to go visit him and his dyno but it hasn't reached the top of the list. I believe he has wideband recording capabilities. You may need to bring carb parts though.

FS: '65 Track wheels and tires 15 x 8 steelies and 225/50R15 Avon Tech R-A's

I used these tires for a few events this year on my '65 coupe. They have a plenty of tread left and don't wear down very fast. I'm sure they have a few track days left in them for next season. Tires 225/50/15 Avon Tech R-A 2.75/32" (4/32" new) of tread depth remaining Purchased Spring '07...

    g force lap time contest

It's not too bad to move. The GPS antenna sticks to the roof with a magnet and the wire threads into the back of the unit. Then you can run power to it from the cigarette lighter. I have it mounted to the windshield with a suction cup mount.

    g force lap time contest

It's a Race-Technology DL1. You can see it hanging from the windshield if you look close. I also have it logging my wideband sensor, a MAP sensor, and RPM from the MSD box. Throttle position and some engine temps will be added over the winter. It's really helped me zero in on my carb tune...

    g force lap time contest

I doubt I'm the 'winner', but here is my data from Waterford Hills in October from my fastest lap. Tires: Avon Tech Ra (no Hoosiers) 225/50/15 on 15x8 steelies with -2.75 deg camber in front Suspension: Mostly Maier parts (springs 700f/200r, Bilsteins, Adj Panhard) with a bunch of homemade...

    Flaring a 65 Fastback?

Track width is a factor in weight transfer on that axle. Increasing the width, decreases weight transfer. Doing this on one end or the other can be used to tune the balance.

    Recentering a rearend?

I just installed new leafs in my car and there was enough room between the pin in the leaf spring and the hole in the perch of the axle housing to position it in the center of the car and then tighten the U-bolts.

    QA1 vs. Edelbrock IAS

I have the Bilsteins from Maier as well. I ended up with the Sports with my spring combination (their 700 front / 200 rear). I have yet to autocross this combo, but will in early May. Mike Maier told me that the rear shocks have identical valving in all three variants. The fronts are the...

    spindle help

I think the left picture is the '65-early '67 disc/drum spindle and the right picture is the '70 drum, but it's dark and hard to tell. Both spindles will work with the '65 disc brake brackets (assuming 4-piston KH calipers) as the 4-hole pattern is the same The '70 spindles are the good ones...
