So several asked me why sand and buff when it looks so slick out of the gun. Well...this is why

Pictures just don't reflect (see what I did) the true difference between a cut and buffed and uncut finish, that said, lay'n down a few coats of color with the skill, that you obviously have in spades, makes the cut and buff not only less work but a lot more rewarding.
Look at the reflections of the other objects in the paint, the overhead light tubes, the red car next to it. The detail is there. It's not blurry, looking out of focus.
I bet you could still see your reflection on a dark moonless night.

Spoiler on. Rear bumper on. Spoiler a refresh buff. Front passenger fender on and hood and both fenders lined and gaps set. Also got the tonneau cover and front bumper sprayed today.

I started working on my wing today, and my respect went way up (which I didn’t think was possible) for your work. It’s not easy one bit and takes tons of time

Lol! Thanks man! Your right. It’s not easy especially when you are going for perfection and some of your pieces are damaged or in this cars case....the side skirts were busted and missing pieces, the spoiler cracking all over, the driver fender with a softball sized dent and on and on.

The export parts are getting really difficult to find. I've been looking for a set of the export fender flares for years. The only ones that pop up on Ebay now are used and in pretty rough shape. Originally I was looking for my color, but now I would go for any color that I could find and just have them painted crystal white to match.

Yep. I bought all mine years ago. Got several sets of the fender flares as well but they just never figured into one of my builds tho
