02 Mach 460...MP3???

I recently purchased an 02 GT with a Mach 460 systen in it. The head unit is the 6 disk in dash type. My question is, will this CD changer play MP3 format CDs or is it only the Mach MP3 head unit that can do this? Tks JB

only the mach mp3 player will play mp3's, i was pissed when i found out that i didnt have it when i purchased my car, but oh well.

I've got an '02 with the Mach 460, also. I added XM to it, but you could add a MP3 player such as the iPod or RIO with a direct connection to your radio by using a PIE input cable. This cable will allow you to press the CD button to toggle between the CD and a second input device. The PIE cable will let you use RCA inputs to the radio.
