12v into Fuel pump relay, 6.8v out?
With the key on, I have 12v coming from the yellow wire (12v fused hot) into the Relay box. with and without the fuel pump jumpered at the diagnostic port, I have 6.8 volts coming from the dark green/yellow wire, going back to the inertia switch and to the pump.
My question is, is this enough for the pump to function? With the key on, my pump will not prime. I have no clue when it comes to electricity.
PS, can I hook a wire from the pos and neg side of the battery to the pump to ensure it works? My neigbor was helping me install the pump and mixed the + and - wires up on the pump, which has turned into a big headache for me
