180 deg. thermostat direction...

Here's a question which I have not found an answer to anywhere in my search. My stock thermostat has an arrow engraved on it with the words "radiator".
Does this mean arrow points towards radiator or does it mean arrow points in direction of water flow to the radiator?

I'm confused because mine came out of the car with the arrow pointing in the oposite direction of my radiator which I guess means water flowing to the radiator.

Anyone?

Yes I know that but what's confusing me is the engraved arrow with the word radiator under it. Should the arrow point in the direction of the radiator (which mine was not when I removed it) or does it mean that the arrow should point in the direction of the water flow to the radiator?

I would assume it is supposed to point to the radiator, but i dont see how it would make that mutch difference, unless you were having problems with it before.

The arrow is talking about the direction of the flow.
