If he explains it like he were to Trump he will use smaller words, you know dumbing it down significantly with lots of useless hyperbole. The slowly part he. Will. Have. To. Place. A. Period. Between. Words.

I tried to use a reasonable example. There are some people you can't explain things too.

1977 Ford Maverick 250 log head inline six was was 98 hp SAE net @ 3400, 182 lb-ft@ 1800

with the high compression 9.35:1 small chamber, big valve Honda aluminum head with the same US 250 cam

1983 XE Ford Falcon 4.1 liter inline six was 131 hp DIN net @3800, 225 lb-ft @ 2300

to have his sons a$$ wh(oo)ped he has to do better than 11.83 seconds at 119.51 mph. The, ahem, so called 460 hp 2018 Stang is 3706 pounds which is 439 rear wheel HP and 487 flywheel HP.

CMA's busted ass Behemoth engine-ed incarnation, with 3500 pounds, would need 414 rear wheel HP and 460 flywheel HP.

so 450 hp is conservative, and its 4.7 times the stock engines power. Lets just say...five times to power. Then he cracked the atom....

long, long ago, CMA pondered the question. What other Ford engine can take 3, 4 or 5 times the stock power so easily? Answer? The 1981 351M Cleveland.

138 @ 3400 and 220 lb-ft @ 1800 rpm. Before adding a turbo, those heads can flow 680 hp @ 7500 rpm. With a turbo, Holdener Horsepower.....

Tried telling him to go 351 long ago...
I woulda had to buy a box to put all of the naval lint in..

Lets see..
in 1975, the first car I ever bought with my own money had a 351 w in it. 69 mach 1.
in 1990 the black and white Zephyr had a 351w in it.
in 2003 the white Mitsubishi Starion had a stroked 351 w in it.

in between those cars, there was a 428, a 351c, a 460, a 496, a 347, a 306,a 363 and the 2v 4.6.

How many more times do I have to put a 351w in something before i get to say “ been there, done that?”

I just had to push your buttons.
I forgot the OG monster I-6:nonono: How could I forget that...the most freakin expensive, noisy, future time-bomb tickin, ford 250 6 banger ever devised...

And even after that...

I still didn’t put a 351 anything in the car.

What‘s that tell you about the likelihood that there’ll ever be another windsor in one of my cars?

What can I say  I never learned to speak Yawn-ese.

Tomorrow should be torque arm day.
( At least I'm freaking hoping)
The arm is built and painted, the interior is back out ( because of how im securing the TA crossmember, and because both the GPS speedo sender, and the new carpet is here as well)
The TA crossmember is built, reinforced, and the front/back bracing that keeps the bushing that the male member slides in/out of from pushing/pulling out is just about finished.
Left to do is the panhard bar and its mount, but I got all that stuff already, so I don't have to stop for supplies.

The tiny wheezer has been sitting on a shelf for a week now, im not thinking ill get to him by end of day.

BUT.....Kate is out of town tomorrow through Sunday night....
That leaves two WHOLE days of getting filthy as all three pigs, and dead tired as a dog...trying to get this thing done.
Yea

Ok, halfway point.

I have to deal with the exhaust, before I can put the torque arm setup fully in place because the t/a crossmember crosses under the exhaust.
So...I got that in front of me. Like everything else, one thing has to be done before the other...in other words, the tiny wheezer has to be mounted to be sure that there is no length differences on the downpipe..so out he comes.
20201022_085609.jpg

And off comes the laggy chinee.
I did get the t/a crossmember completely finished, and mounted..its just a matter of getting the exhaust done.
20201022_133407.jpg

Hopefully its braced enough.
And standing by, waiting on all of that to happen....
Is this freakin Monster Torque arm...ill bet the fckin thing weighs 30 lbs.
20201022_133508.jpg

Gotta eat...mount the tiny W...and fix the exhaust.

Much love for gettin it done. Meanwhile, Back at the Toyota Ranch. I've already eaten, greased and played with my balls, had a joint and forgot to put on the rubber. Must be family parentage. And no, the Plastic hammer or Clasp Puller does not open the C clip after you've done it wrong. Only Honorable Royobi -san and a cut off disc. 3 of them.....
