I ordered in new outer tie rods for my King Cobra's rack and pinion only to then find out they are for manual steering racks. The new tie rods look like the old types and seem to fit okay. Does anyone know if they are safe to use with a power rack?

I don't believe there is any difference and they should be just fine as long as your car can be aligned.
