What would our Mustangs be considered "sports car" or a "muscle car"? I have heard several agruments on what and why it would be either or none of the above mentioned. What is your opinion?
i sat pony ...muscle dosent fit it and it dosent fit a camaro either...muscle was the term in the late 60's early 70's when it was all about power and torque cars are no longer built that way there is no modern muscle really.... a corvette i would consider a sport coupe and a viper and the such i say a form of exotic
It was really something special. Therefore this Ford was called "Pony Car". Not bound to rank or class, nearly everyone felt attracted to it. Simply ... for the normal people. The Mustang was advertised as "the car to be designed by you".
shows what you know, read closely, you might learn something. the modern v8's are pumping out just as much if not more power than the vehicles during the muscle wars, and they are getting 18mpg. besides I hate the word pony, it sounds so ghey, especially when applied to anything other than a mustang. when I had my 71 t/a and 00 camaro, if someone called it a pony car they were getting bitch slapped.
