1980 Fox Engine Swap

I have a 1980 hatchback it was a turbo four and im planning on buying a 85 lincoln 302 and iv been looking for hours and deciced to go on here my main question is this can you switch the EFI into carb by just changing the intake and throttle body im sure this is a question pasted around alot but all i'v found have been for newer foxes mine being 2nd year i'm just cunfused as heck wondering if i can do it or not since i dont really have a computer just the duraspark ignition module

You're right man,...........it has been passed around alot. A 1980 Mustang is a non-ecu controlled engine, so you do not have to worry about anything electrically except swapping the engines and all of the mechanicals that go with it. Electronically, all you need is to provide the Duraspark module w/ the correct power, and use an electric, key switched fuel pump mounted in the rear, and you're in business..............welcome to the bellybutton club.
