SOLD 1985-1988 Ford Thunderbird 2.3L Turbo SOHC 8V Camshaft (Should work in many 2.3L Mustangs)

[SOLD]

Listed is a used Camshaft for a 2.3L Ford. It was pulled from a running 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe in the 1990s and has been stored indoors since then.
This is considered to be the "Big" OE camshaft among the Ford 2.3 Turbo communities and it is understood to be equivalent to the Ford Motorsport A231 (M-6250-A231) Camshaft (which happens to have more lift than the 2.3 Ranger roller camshaft).

It should fit the following applications, but was originally intended for a 2.3L Turbo:
RANGER 85-87 4-140 (2.3L), gasoline
RANGER 83-84 4-140 (2.3L)
COUGAR 84-86 4-140 (2.3L)
CAPRI 83-84 4-140 (2.3L), w/turbo
AEROSTAR 86-87 4-140 (2.3L)
MUSTANG 85 4-140 (2.3L), w/turbo, thru 2/3/85
THUNDERBIRD 83-88 4-140 (2.3L)
MUSTANG 83-84 4-140 (2.3L), w/turbo
MUSTANG 87-90 4-140 (2.3L)
RANGER 88 4-140 (2.3L)

Hi Mo, Do you still have this camshaft?? I need an OE cam for my autox car and unfortunately two of the heads I got came with thrashed cams.

Stock cams are fine, I switched from this one because I got a roller cam. But, roller cams have a cost associated with upgrading to them..
I ended up trading that car to the guy who I got the roller cam from and ended up with the Cobra Mustang in my avatar image which had four cams. Interesting how horse trading goes sometimes!
