I am selling my 1988 Mustang GT. The vehicle was rebuilt from the ground up by myself and my mechanic about 3 years ago. Only driven about 3,000 miles since. Garage kept. The engine is an Explorer 5.0 with about 75,000 miles on it. It still has the explorer camshaft but I just purchased a brand new Trick Flow Stage 1 Cam not installed yet that will come with the car as well as a set of new engine seals and trick flow valve springs. The engine was cleaned and rebuilt before being put in the car. Everything I list below has been installed brand new within the last 3 years unless stated used. Most of it in the last 6 months. Here is a list of what's in the car:
-Rebuilt T5 Transmission, rebuilt about 3 months ago.
-Short throw shifter.
- Clutch kit.
-GT40P Heads(used)
-MAC Long Tube Headers, Off Road MAC H Pipe.
-Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust.
-Weiand 7515 xcelerator intake
-Edelbrock 4 barrel carb(used)
-Msd Distributor
- Aluminum Radiator (Includes brand new electric fan that has not been installed yet)
- 3G Alternator
- 3.55 gears (used)
- heater core
- Aluminum Drive shaft
- 1 piece smoked headlights and tail lights.
- Cervini Fiberglass Hood.
- Subframe Connectors not yet installed but comes included with car.
- Custom orange paint job with a lot of extra left over paint for future touch ups.
- black pony rims.
- sunroof
- all new weather stripping
- new door lock activators.(need adjusting because I cant get the electric doors to work properly)
- New black headliner, carpet and mustang mats.
- grey tweed seats in really good condition.(used)
- roll bar.
- new trunk hydrolics.
- Grant steering wheel
- 2 Din CD/MP3/Radio. 6 New speakers.
The issues with the car are these:
- Passenger door weather stripping leaks even though its brand new. Door must need adjustment.
- No AC
- Speedo Off a little. Needs matching speedo gear.
- No Ebrake cable installed.
- Hole in dash where previous owner had a gauge.
- power doors and one power mirror need adjustments.
- Have to hook up windshield washer fluid hoses.
I am sure I am missing something but I put a lot of money in all brand new parts in this car. It is in great shape and drives awesome. Nothing needed to be done to get on the road. I am selling the car to fund my next project. Let me know if you have any questions.
$4,700 OBO
