Well, my Dad and I tackled it. We replaced the oil pan gasket very easily. I have the trans out to have it fixed, and that prolly helped a ton!! Did not have to pull motor.
1. Unbolted rack and pinion
2. Lifted motor up a little bit, not too much really.
3. Slid pan out completely, then replaced gasket, and buttonened it all back up.
Whoever invented those blue thread in pins to hold the gasket to the block is a GENIOUS!!!!! It made is so easy. I would definatley do it again. Thanks for all of your advice. I saved what.....200-300 bucks.
