1996 Gt Np I Cams

Just to start some discussion. My 96 Gt has the pi intake and cams, o/r x pipe, dynomax mufflers, cai, and c&l elbow with 75mm TB. If I wanted to net more streetable power with a can swap what would be recommended? Currently factory 2.73 but will be putting some 3.73s I have in one day.

Look into MHS cams, I like the fact they tailor to the NPI heads as well as the PI guys. Comp's entry level cams aren't bad, but 2/3 of their cams are IMO too big for a DD/mainly street car (which is what most of us have). I don't know what the 2.73s are like in a 96, but I went from 3.27 to 3.73 in my 97 4.6 Tbird and it was night and day. My 96GT has factory 3.27s, so it's hard to compare our cars directly. The granny gears are rough, lots of clutch off the line. But for the next year or so she's a highway queen so they aren't going yet.
