1997 mustang gt o2 sensor vaccum leak and idle problem

i had my car for about 1 year and half now and it had a small vacuum leak cool i fixed it but it still had a really bad idle problem the notorious hanging idle i cleaned the maf changed iac but now the 02 sensor the wires got ripped out because my car is low and i live in louisiana if anyone know the troubles the roads here suck so how would i go about fixing it thank you

If this were my car I would either check Rock Auto or car-part.com for a replacement O2 pig tail. Cut back the damaged harness to good wire and then splice in the replacement pig tail. Best to not cut any corners splicing the wires. Make sure every joint is water tight and physically secure.

Thank you but I went ahead since my car is throwing 02 sensor codes even before this happened I went ahead and bought all new ones so hopefully it will be fixed after this now finding where my damn idle is high is next
