1998 Cobra Convertible with a Hard Clutch Pedal

The previous owner of my Cobra changed the clutch cable to one wich dosn't use the quadrant. I know the quadrant adds mechanical advantage and am going to retur it to the car. I am wondering what quadrant will give me the easiest pedal? My wife weighs 100 pounds and loves the car but the clutch peal beats her up and I want her to be able to drive it. Well there is gonna be some kind of quadrant or lever have you actually looked under the dash? I would have a transmission shop take a look and if it needs a clutch get a lighter one.
