Okay, my basic question has to due with the wiring harness of the 1999 into the 1993 era computer. The 1993 in particular uses coil packs at the e4nd of the motor vs the COP technology of the 1999. Can I use the coil packs with this new PI motor and the original 1993 strock computer or doi I have to convert to COP plug wires and also have to obtain and use a 1999 era computer. I looked at the wiring diagram and the harness of the 1999 era motor and It looks like it will hook up to my old computer harness. Any help would be very much appreciated.

You'll need to keep the ignition system paired with the computer you use. If you got a computer with the 99 engine, use the COPs. If you are using the Lincoln computer, use the coils. I'm not sure if that computer is capable of running that engine, though. Wasn't that Lincoln a DOHC?
use the ignition setup, harness and computer that is in the car now. there is really no benefit of swaping all of the stuff needed to use the COP ign.
