$2,000 for a Vortech S-Trim!? Ahh! Help Quick!

Hey guys, I have the opportunity to get a used Vortech S-Trim Kit. Everything is there that is needed for the install. Car had 13K on it when he took it off. I don't know how many miles are on the blower though.

Thoughts?! Need em quick! Offer is on the table!!

Is it worth $2,000? It's not intercooled and I could only run it on 8#. I had my mind set on a 9# KB 1.7 i/c. I shouldn't make such a rash decision. I'll decline the offer.

Well you already passed but yes it was worth it. If everything was there. Worse case you send blower back for rebuild usually 300 bucks, then you so install and get it dyno tuned, (which odds are you'd do anyway). Now if you did everything yourself but the tune. what 3k in it.

Yea, I figured that...oh well...I guess I'll just stick to my plans: KB 9psi kit. I prefer the constant whine anyway. ;-)
