Hey guys i'm buying an 89 2.3 with a t5 for parts for my t5 swap. I'm just double checking that the clutch pedal assembly and everything else is the same as a 5.0. I can't see why the setup would be different, but thought I'd just double check.

Pedal assembly is the only thing you can use. Unless you are stripping other parts from the car there is no point in buying it just for a trans swap.
The pedals are the same, but everything else is different. The bell housing, clutch fork and cable are different, the cross member is single hump, the transmission is weaker.

Oh wow I thought i'd be able to at least use the cable and clutch fork. That's not quite worth it. thanks guys.
Much easier ways to get those parts rather than buying an entire car
