2 wierd sounds?!?!?!

alright, i've had 4 cars b4 i got my 04 stang(neon, focus, mazda6, rodeo), and ive never heard these sounds b4.

first, whenever i go over a bump, it sounds like air is escaping the tires when they hit the ground. u can clearly hear it, its not like a faint sound. is that normal??


secondly, when i park the car after drivin home from work, i can hear a hissin sound commin from under the hood. is that normal?

or am i just paranoid?

the air sound when you go over a bump is your shocks compressing. don't worry that's normal! I hear it too. The hissing sound is normal too, don't worry dude you're just paranoid! the hissing can be from you running your AC on and the water is just evaporating. Or it's just pressure in the coolant, don't worry your car won't break down on you!

Yeah my car hisses when I park. I used to be paranoid about it but now I think it sounds pretty cool . Like it's angry or something. I don't hear any air when I hit bumps though...I might not be paying attention.
