I have a 2000 gt auto with a 100k on it, I have replaced my breaks with the best pads & drilled/slotted all the way around.. and my breaks work but it seems they should be a lot better than they are.. (any advice) there's no air in the lines, it was all done the beginning of this summer so my car should stop on a dime & it's more like I have stock break. Is there something I else I should have done?

Based on your description, you do have stock brakes. Changing out the OEM rotors for drilled and slotted isn't going to increase noticeable stopping power. Neither is switching from OEM to a Hawk or similar quality pad.

The OEM calipers are still doing the clamping with the same number of pistons on a rotor with now slightly less surface area.

What are these "best" brake pads and rotors you speak of?

Did you follow the specific break-in procedures for the new rotors & pads?
