Hey guys, quick question. I have a 2001 V6 Mustang with 18x9 Saleen Replica rims. I was thinking of purchasing the Eibach Pro Kit Springs that lower the car about 1.5". My question is, do you think I'll run into any rubbing/bottoming out problems?

With a 1.5" drop, you're going to have to spring for caster/camber plates so your shop can get the front end alignment back where it needs to be.

As for the ride height, I have BBK progressive springs that dropped the car about 3/4", and I have occasional scrapes across speed bumps and even sections of uneven pavement (heavily ridged blacktop). At 1.5", you're going to have to make sure your exhaust system is tucked all the way up under the car and doesn't hang down at all.

As for rubbing, if your tires are the same diameter as the stock 17s, you should be OK. How does the width and backspacing compare?

The rim size doesn't matter, it's the tire diameter that counts, you can get a short 18 inch tire and it will be the same diameter as a tall 15 inch tire.
May I suggest a few mods:
1. Get the Steeda bump steer kit to fix the steering geometry
2. Get the Steeda taller lower ball joint to fix the suspension geometry
Both of these items, along with the springs will make a huge difference in how the car handles.
Here's a pic of a 99 with the exact mods that you listed. It finished 3rd over all in tampa Bay NASA class D in 2006.
