2002 Steering Problem

Have had no issues, noises, etc with the steering until yesterday..

When I was returning home, the steering completely disinfranchised.. the steering wheel did not move the wheels at all. Then it returned to normal.. just a feet further and the wheels locked to the left and steering wheel was useless. Stopped and let set a few minutes. Things went back to normal. Tried to make another curve and again steering locked up. What is wrong with this car? I need this solved asap so any advice is welcomed.

Sounds like a power steering problem. First check to see there is enough fluid in the power steering pump. If there is, likely the steering rack is bad. It's not hard to replace for the DIY'er.
