It was making a strang sound after driving for a while when i would turn any ideas?

Turning usually indicates clutches shattering constant whine on accel usually would be a pinion bearing i would run the wheels on jack stands and see if it duplicates then open the diff inspect clutches and our replace if they look okay try an anti friction additive to reduce clutch shatter
